[ Well, this week sure was the best timing to be back in the world of Pokemon considering there was the Circus in Goldenrod and they were offering flights for a small fee. Korra hadn't really expected to be able to meet with Asami so soon, but here she was, in the same city with the engineer after all that flying. Of course she had been all excited to see the Circus as soon as she heard about it, but then again she was much more excited to see her best (human!)friend.
Korra had been keeping contact with Asami often while she was traveling. Now that she's here, feet on the ground, ride returned to wherever the Pokemon wanted to go after bringing her to Goldenrod... She sends a video to Asami. ]
Hey, I'm here! Or well... [Korra turns the gear to show the Pokemon Center right behind her.] here! So come find me, or tell me where can I find you?
[Does she sound excited? Extremely excited, there's so much excitement that someone should almost try to keep her still.]
[Naga stops playing with everyone on their way there, that's why Korra and the dog arrive like fifteen minutes later. So, just about 5 minutes after Asami, but she still hoped to get there a bit faster.
But as soon as Korra sees Asami there, waiting for her, it's all okay! She rushes to her to give her one of the biggest hugs ever! Don't think she'll let go any time soon.]
[Someday, Asami will get used to Korra's sincere enthusiasm. Maybe. She lets out a small 'eep!' when Korra dashes her way and scoops her into a hug.]
It's good to see you, too.
[Asami relaxes, after a moment, with a small, relieved smile. She'd been nervous, after their initial conversation, about Korra's mental state. But she's okay. Or, at least, she's pretending to be. They had spoken frequently throughout the journey here, but Asami is overjoyed to finally see her best friend in person after so many months.
Her arms curl automatically around Korra's shoulders.]
[Korra keeps hugging her best friend for a moment. Asami is there. Korra is here. Everything is pretty perfect, no more waiting to get around a familiar face.]
I almost tried getting through that tiny screen to get here faster. Wouldn't have worked, but...
[but the point is that Korra and logic don't always work together anyway, and that she really wanted to get to Asami as soon as possible.]
...unless I had a pokemon, who knew teleport, but that'd take a lot of training...
[Hey, there are so many reasons, why she shouldn't be running alone this time around. Good thing she's not going to leave her best friend alone now, when she's finally with her. Korra looks excited.]
That'd be great! I don't think I remember the places too well, bits here and there but actually knowing my way around a city like this? No--
[Cut by Naga fiercely cuddling their legs like Korra forgot to introduce someone. Korra gives a laugh and lets go of the hug to pet the dog.] I didn't forget you, I just -- Anyway, Naga, this is Asami, my best human friend. You two will be friends too, I'm sure.
