That rain yesterday sure was... a nice welcome.

[Judging by the young woman's tone of voice, it was most certainly not a nice welcome. Yep, definitely another noobie. And one who's not so used to spending the night outside. A Riolu could be seen in the background, splashing in the quickly drying puddles lining the dirt road of Route 29.]

I think I've got things under control, though. Food, clothes, my own... [A glance over her shoulder] "Pokémon." I guess you guys have probably already heard how crazy this all is, by now. Does "Harmonic Convergence" mean anything to any of you? My world just went through some pretty huge changes, and I'm wondering if that caused... whatever's got me here, now.

[She seems startled, suddenly, as she remembers her manners-]

I'm Asami, by the way.

[One more question.]

[Action to Route 29]
[Shortly after her broadcast, Asami can be found halfheartedly avoiding puddles and mud as she makes her way through the tall grass. It isn't that she really minds getting messy. She is travelling, after all. She'd just rather not.]

I don't see how harmonic convergence would mean something in any world. But if it's supposed to come with disembodied music and new weird animals, then I guess it sounding like nonsense makes sense.

[He looks pretty unfazed by the look he's getting, because it's the kind of look he gets all the time. But the more he looks at her...she does look a little like a younger Lust. Weird.]

So why don't you tell me what this harmonic convergence is supposed to be, and I'll tell you if that's what happened.

[Spoilers it's definitely not what happened and he already knows that. But not many people show up already with an explanation for what's just happened.]

[The term's meaningless to him...but it obviously sounds important. And if it can change worlds, maybe it can get him out of here. That'd be nice.]

[She's definitely going to do that. Because falling asleep was miserable. Between that and the rain... Ugh.]

It's... I honestly can't even explain it that well. It's some alignment between my world and the Spirit World, and it only happens every ten thousand years. It was pretty chaotic, and if anything was going to just drop me off someplace I don't belong, that would be the most likely thing to do it.

It's meaningless to me, but I can't say for sure it hasn't happened back home. All kinds of weird stuff happens, so it could've I guess.

[Alien invasions, clones, so sure, that can happen.]

Sounds hard to miss though, so I don't think that's what's behind everybody being stuck in this damn place.

[He says it calmly, but there's a little of his own frustration in there. He hasn't been here long enough to get complacent about it.]

[As Asami goes along the route, she'll soon catch the sound of humming. The source comes into view after a while- a rather lovely lady with a black jacket a bit too big for her frame. She's near a tree, gesturing for one particular Starly to try and come a bit closer. It seems to be going well so far until the Electrike at her side notices Asami's presence.]

[There's no barking or anything. It simply gets up onto its feet and braces itself, sparks crackling through its fur. That makes the Starly pay attention and thus flap off.]

[Red isn't much bothered by the loss. She just turns away to face Asami, bright blue eyes glancing over her before she gives a soft smile and waves.]

[The pleasant humming that catches Asami's ears is a nice break from the omnipresent melody that has been haunting her since her arrival.

Sure, she'll get used to it. But she isn't, yet.

Asami pauses when she catches sight of the woman and the Pokémon beside her. Teruko is alerted when the Electrike's fur sparks, though Asami isn't particularly nervous of it. She managed a pleasant look and returns the wave.]

I don't know what a Harmonic Convergence is, but it sounds pretty cool!

[Harmonic Convergence, huh? Riku's brow furrows in thought, and he rubs his chin. Ultimately, he's never heard of it, but it certainly sounds like a big deal. Or, like Heather said, a new-age rock band. Maybe both.

So here we have a rather tall young man, about nineteen after spending years in this world. His hair color's probably a bit odd-- silver isn't a color you usually see with teens, after all. He's seated at the edge of a bed with a Charizard dozing in the background.]

Actually, no one really knows how we got here. Maybe it's like you said, and that Harmonic Convergence caused it, but soem of us got dumped here while doing totally mundane things like building a raft... Basically, it's a mixed bag.

[He stops and chuckles.]

By the way, you can always try and drown out the music with the radio. Just expect a lot of cheesy songs about friendship and battles.
